Since we had power back today we could finally do what we wanted to do yesterday .
We started with a little clothes shopping for the wife here in Amersfoort .
since it was still raining outside , in the innercity was hardly a soul to be found . That makes it easier to shop no lines to wait in for fitting rooms or cashier .
After the wife had found what she was looking for we went home to pick up the camera since the weather had changed from rainy in to sunny .
After i picked up the camera equipment i drove to the forrest area where i had been last Sunday .

When we arrived a the parking lot something yellow got my attention ...
1 ) So i grabbed the camera and took some photos and found out it was a Lotus , the first time i ever heard about Lotus was in a James Bond movie called "The Spy Who Loved Me " where the Lotus could change in to a little submarine , and looked like a sports car , unlike this yellow thing here .
2 ) It looks just like any other SUV only with a Lotus logo .
3 ) o well back to the mushrooms , there were still plenty of mushrooms to see , but also more moister so i needed to be more carefull with the camera , even if it's weather proof .
4 ) everything is still wet from the rain , so i need to be carefull with my flashlight , not to cause to many reflections .

That Lotus really contrasts with the landscape; its intense yellow makes it visible from long distances. And even though Google doesn't always help you with the names of the mushrooms, the photographs you've brought are wonderful. At that distance and height, the mushrooms look like they're from a planet of giants. They look spectacular, and you've given them different lighting, so they can be appreciated very well. There is one in particular that looks like it has honey on it. And the hamburger could easily have been one of them; there is an impressive variety.
Your photographs of the landscape and the trees with their autumnal hues take us on a journey, transport us and invite us to dream. The rain has left you with a fabulous atmosphere for you to bring us this excellent work. Thank you very much!

yeah that yellow makes sure people will notice you on the road when they are playing on their phone ..
we used to have a yellow Renault clio not so long ago and people would spot you a lot sooner .

i drive by that thing almost daily and always a huge line waiting , until this afternoon so it was a building up feeling of the need for a burger .

Too many varieties of mushrooms. Seeing for the first time. Here we have just 1 or 2 varieties. That's it. Lovely photography.
Flash work must always be done carefully so that excessive light doesn't interfere with the photo. Congratulations on the way you handled every moment to capture the essence in each frame.
