Helloo to my fellow photographers and nature lovers on Hive!
While taking an evening walk, these uniquely curved white wildflowers nestled among vibrant green foliage caught my eye. There is something serene about discovering small, delicate details in wild flora that usually go unnoticed during a busy day.
After doing a little research on this plant, I discovered that it is commonly known as Indian Turnsole (Heliotropium indicum). In Myanmar, we fondly call it ဆင်နှာမောင်းပန်း (Elephant Trunk Flower) because the unique, curved scorpion-tail inflorescence closely resembles an elephant's trunk. Belonging to the borage family (Boraginaceae), this plant naturally features rows of tiny, star-shaped white flowers that open sequentially along its arched stem.

I focused closely on the curved arch to accentuate the intricate textures of the small petals and the subtle green background bokeh.
