RE: Fading flowers

I, too, find the fading flowers very interesting subjects to photograph. There is still beauty to be seen even in death. The last thing to be done in my garden is cutting the limelight hydrangea flowers off, then trimming the tops of the raspberry bushes. Our leaves never got as pretty as your landscapes. I really enjoyed seeing the changes throughout the season at the point on the lake. It is still beautiful, and I imagine very stunning when the snow falls.

Thanks. It is 33F this morning. The other day there was some frozen precipitation in the air. I wouldn't call it snow and it totally wasn't going to stick. But still ...

I feel for you. We got our first hard frost this morning, and I am so not ready for cold days. Ugh!
