legend says:
The story goes that Clarita, the daughter of a Márquez, lost her mother at the age of twelve, remaining in the care of a nurse named Evarista who had a son Francisco, whom Márquez took a lot of love with.
Over time a romance was born between the two young people, Clarita got pregnant, a fact that generated shame in the Márquez, so she decided to lock Francisco in a convent so that he could become a friar, his daughter forced him to take a long trip .

Fishermen from the cove of chorrillos dressed as friars represent the fact by jumping from the rock into the sea before the attentive gaze of dozens of visitors, tourists and locals who applaud their action and leave tips.
