Wedding Bells.

in Photography Lovers4 years ago (edited)

It's Wedding season here, and this means a lot of dazzling authentic typical wears are on the go to flaunt the vibe of the marriage. Typically, marriage is performed with all the rituals. Men go for formal or typical traditional wear i.e. Daura & Surwal( Gurkha wears). For ladies, the saree comes as the first priority. So, what a good time to get started in portrait photography.

Saree wear depends upon if you are married, or unmarried. Not particularly, but usually unmarried wears the light ones with fewer ornaments, while the married ones wear heavy sarees and are filled with ornaments. Generally, it's a matter of choice. And, also the color preference might change according to liking. Typically, these colors would depend on the types of rituals performed as well.

It was a burst of scorching sunshine. Natural lighting is pretty much available during the day. But when photographic spots are rare, I really found it hard to make the capture. This is one of the few attempts I have made so far in portrait photography. Turns out well to the f/4 capture here.
The wedding bells are ringing around. Some good family times are filling up the joy.

Hope you liked going through the blog. It would be a privilige to hear the feedbacks from your side.

Oh wow! In the Philippines wedding season is on the month of June. 🥰

That's cool. We actually have two seasons. Going through the summer one. The next one goes during the winter.
The season there looks like knocking on the door. Must be one crazy experience. But is it different to be from the girl side vs the boy side there as in the rituals of bride going groom house?

Yes, we call it "pamamanhikan" 🥰

These are some beautiful shots and a very pretty model. It's funny though because the ornate craftsmanship on that door captivated me above all! hahaha Great post and i hope you get to shoot some more wedding inspired shots!

Thank you so much. Also, I would pass the compliment to the model. That's a noticeable craftmanship to captivate you. I won't blame you ahaha. I was actually trying to blend the typical background on the one side, and the other with the matching outfit. Lol
Looking forward to getting along with some improvised editing skills :D Thank you again.

Yes, please do pass the compliments on to your lovely model. I think her outfit contrasted nicely with the colorization of the door. These were all good shots but that one with the door was my favorite. Hopefully, this wedding season will bring you more opportunities! Cheers
