It is time that winter is about to leave from the northern part of the earth. And the sky is getting more deeper blue after the long winter's sluggishness and the dust pollution from the nearby desert of Beijing City. My living area is around 65 km north-eastern from the city center and the surrounding is protected so many mountains, especially the whole northern and some eastern and western corners also.
Due to the long distance, the weather is relatively better here than in the city area as here you can't find so much traffic like in Beijing city and also, the density of the population is also lower than in the Beijing city center. As it is the end of the spring the bitter cold is going to fade away with the increasing temperature very soon. Currently, the temperature is crossing the 10-degree centigrade level and very soon the temperature is going to cross the 15-degree level with the more shining sun to make the northern part of the world warmer.
As the winter is fading away the beauty of the surroundings is revealing a newer version and the sky looks amazing now it is going to more clearer and the furthest visibility will keep increasing. This is a great time for me to have outdoor activities to loos my weight. It has become a normal phenomenon like in winter I gain weight which I lose in summer, the perfectly opposite to the winter animals who lose their fat throughout the whole winter.
I can say that Beijing has it's greatest beauty in late march to early May and this period is the best time to travel around I am very happy to grab the chance this year also to discover some new locations as usual. I have already a list of more than 10 places to visit first and most of them are a place with amazing natural beauty.
I usually get out of the institute almost in late of the afternoon and days are still not larger yet as the sun set around 6 pm, which is extending very fast nowadays. I enjoy cycling as my number one outdoor activity rather than running or jogging. These two are my main outdoor activities on a regular basis. For the holidays I always walk a lot to visit each of the corners of any tourist spots or scenic areas.
I don't want to come back too often as my holidays are very limited so I utilize every minute of it. And maybe this one is going to be my last cycling this winter. And it is a problem that I can't go out in the whole winter due to the freezing temperature and strong northern wind.
But the late winter and the start of the spring, some days are warmer which are my cycling days which I love a lot. And the view that I see is greatly inspiring to come back again and again. So, I always note the tracks and take beautiful pictures of some of the locations that I don't want to lose in my future life.
The black-colored roads and the blue sky are really a great combination to soothe your eyes. The blue horizon will take you to the end of the earth but here you will discover the green mountains which is the last thing that you can observe. Also, if you go to the top of that mountain, you will get the real horizon that has no limits but it will fade away.
Most of the time I go by myself as my Chinese colleagues are not so curious to visit such beautiful places very often like me but many times I join them when they go to some amazing places in Beijing. The main benefits with them is to know some myths and stories behind those places from them and often discover some new things that I could neglect without their knowledge.
As I visit this place alone, I often remember a Bangla song which is also very popular in my country though it is of my own country's thought but the song is evergreen as it was in black and white print which I am mentioning here with english translation with the help of google translator and a Youtube link.
