leaves playing around in the basement
Good Morning and have a great day
I mentioned in my post last Monday I have been trying to get a few shots down in our basement, since I am not getting out for walks, I have ordered a few little things with these projects in mind, but took these shots before they arrived, and since they have arrived days have bene busy with family and or Doctors appointments so I havent been down to try other ideas yet but maybe tomorrow I will e able to
Now those who have followed me for a while will know most of the photos I take and share are out on photo walks, often in the early morning hours, so this is quite a different style for me.
and I will admit now, before getting to the photos it's an area I have not done much of and I need a lot more practice
For these shots I was playing around with different lens my 90mm Macro lense being one which I dont think I have used in over a year and the 28-75mm lens, plus different lights and flashes I already had, the flashes I havent used in years, I think the only time I ever used them was for my wifes sons wedding which must have bene over 10 years ago
The good news is they still work well as I need them for another project I am looking forward to trying out.
As I said, these shots aren't the best but it's a starting point and hopefully with practice I will get even better shots
Starting with probably my favorite shot from this session, where I managed to get most of the leaf in focus

Quite surprised how crisp that firts one is when I note the ISO is 10,ooo
And another leaf mostly in focus, I got these leaves from our back yard prior to our grandson blowing up and bagging all the leaves, fortunately, most of the trees are now pretty bare so that season and yard work is almost done with.

and yet another leaf

I used a little water spritz bottle to add the drops on this next one

and also on this one

And that’s all folks

Hello dear friend @tattoodjay, good day!
It's great that you're trying out different options and switching lenses for these shots. All the photos look truly beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing these shots.
Have a wonderful day!
Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay
I hope you can soon start this new project you have in mind for your basement; I have no doubt it will be beautiful.
These photographs are true works of art.
Excellent photographs, congratulations!
Awwww… Awesome leaves phothography stuff my talented friend!!!
Nice experiences with these leaves.
You already have good equipment, judging by the details, especially in terms of texture.
Have a great day... Take care.
Very nice! Our leaves went pretty quickly here. There one day and then gone the next!
Wow thats cool. Very different for you. Love the focus on that first one, you can almost feel the texture on that leaf 👍
Beautiful, my dear friend.

Nice macro shots on the leaves. You really catch those minute details in each one, pretty cool. Too bad winter has kicked in making it hard to get out for walks. You didn't get to walk too much this fall sadly...
