Reflections

Good morning
One thing I love getting in photos is reflections, often on walks especially by the water i am looking for potential reflection shots, and off recent i have got a few I am happy with and hence this post

Starting with a shot down by the port at sunrise of the replica tall sail ship the Ernestina Morrisey

The water was quite still that morning making for a pretty crisp reflection

Still at the port, but on a foggy morning giving a bit of a moody feel to this next reflection shot and rippled reflections with the water which was quite choppy that morning

this was on a walk on East beach still here in New Bedford, quite moody and grey that morning, but caught this shot of the sun breaking through and reflecting on the water
I wasnt expecting to take any more photos that morning and was walking along the coast trying to get more steps in when I saw it luckily i was still carrying my camera and got it out for this shot

Another moody Morning and it had just stopped raining when I headed out, and i caught this shot the lamp reflected on the wet boardwalk

Even though itis moody I do love this shot and I would say it is my favorite of this post

NOw maybe being a bit of a grump with this last shot, with the days getting shorter and cooler, got me thinking winter isnt to far away so I added this shot at the Pond to finish off this post

Those are some great photos! I told my wife about the reflections theme that a lot of people use here on Hive and she has been keeping an eye out for good photos I can take ever since. It is pretty funny.

Oh my God, the each photograph is breath taking. Especially the one of sun drowning. That is looking like two fire balls one is on sky and the other is water.

Wow, winter! Christmas! It is just around the corner.
But before then, let us enjoy fall!! Remember when I used to look for fall colors here? The temperatures are definitely cooler now, but I'm sure nowhere close to yours!

I love seeing how things will reflect like this you know someplace with other appearances of reflection and to see how they have to look like a magic I used to notice this and especially when I’m visit a Temple with the lake nearby I can see them in the water, which is so amazing .

The first image of the replica tall sail ship, the Ernestina Morrisey, with its crisp reflection on the still water at sunrise is truly captivating. The calmness of the water enhances the mirror-like effect.
