Nine years of having the beehives there must mean you’ve watched the landscape change quite a bit over time. It’s sad how much some of these natural landscapes have changed. And swimming under a waterfall after spending time around the beehives sounds to me like such a perfect way to end a day outdoors.
I’m also curious about that stone that looks like a hawk’s head and the treasure-sign story behind it. There always seems to be some local legend attached to interesting places like that. Funny thing is that I would actually go there and dig a little to see if I find anything like a precious stone. Haha
The whole place sounds like one of those spots where you can spend an entire day exploring without realizing how much you’ve walked.
