Downtown Art

A few weeks ago, I spotted a shot that I wanted to get of street art in downtown Hamilton Ont. So I launched my drone and started shooting the area, looking for art and taking skyline shots.

Startting at the former City Center Mall, a now vacant building that will have Canada's largest street art mural when done.

This is the shot I had envisioned. About 20 feet above Rebecca St. facing James St N. Buildings lining the street with a horror themed mural at the end. The light reflections and activity on the street only added to what I wanted!

To finish the flight, I captured a couple more murals and called it a day.

Downtown Hamilton is in a strange place. A lot of dying businesses and vacant buildings mixed with new condo builds. One thing it is great for is the street art!

Such an awesome visual tour of Hamilton! The mix of street art and urban decay creates such a striking atmosphere and your photos really bring it to life!

Thanks!!!
