First Halloween Shoot Of 2022: Freddy At Abandoned School

in Photography Lovers2 years ago (edited)

Halloween is easily my favorite holiday of the year and I always look forward to doing spooky shoots!

Freddy Krueger and the Nightmare On Elm Street Series was my childhood favorite when it came to horror flicks, so it is always fun to suite up as the 80s slasher and have some fun! For this shoot I planned on going inside of an abandoned school that I had recently shot and posted here, but unfortunately it had been sealed back up. So accessing was not an option. Rather than walking away I decided to utilize a back alley at it, on one side the school wall and the other side a rusted fence with heavy overgrowth.

For the last shot, my friend Mike and his 9 year old son came. It was so cute, his son did not like the Freddy outfit at all. So he was dictating how the shot was going to go. He did not want to even be able to see his dad in the outfit, so made it very clear that his back would be turned to him. I think that uncomfortable look that he had, added to the vibe of the photo and made it so much better! Making it by far my favorite shot of the day!

I cannot wait for more Halloween shoots in the coming month and am always open to ideas! If you have any please let me know in the comments.

Hello @terrywayne haha Freddy a whole myth I saw when I was a kid all the movies speak a lot more to a generation of older people than young people now.
The child was not too scared? The costume and the claws are very well represented
