Hawk On The Hunt

Early spring in southern Ontario is the most active times for hawks and this last week has been proof of that for me! First I had a hawk swoop down to catch a mouse right beside me while on the Bruce Trail in Ancaster Ontario (https://hive.blog/hive-194913/@terrywayne/hawk-in-a-blizzard) and now I came across another one at Princess Point (Hamilton Ont. Bayfront).

I spotted this hawk perched high in a tree, scanning the ground for a meal. By the time I got my camera out, it decided to move to another tree. But not before I snapped a shot of him, then a few more as he flew to the other tree.
