This was a winter weekend to remember! It started with absolutely freezing temperatures (-50 Celsius at 5,000 feet and -20 at surface with a -30 Windchill) on Friday and it stayed similar on Saturday. Then yesterday it started snowing at 8a.m. and didn't end until midnight.
Typically in a storm like this, I would have been out enjoying it. But I'm almost over a bad flu, so I didn't want to push it. After the snow stopped, I couldn't stop myself from taking a little walk around the neighborhood, to see how snowed in we are.
While at the park I put the drone up to get a better view.
Not wanting to push my luck in the -20 degree weather, and have my flu come back. I snapped a couple more shots and got back into the warmth. I cannot wait to get back to 100% and do some hiking!
