It was a very busy weekend (A long weekend in Canada) that ended for me at the Festival Of Friends in Hamilton Ontario. A music event that has run since the 1970s and also has a carnival in it. So after checking out the Whalers perform a few classic hits like No Woman No Cry, I wandered over to the carnival rides and started having some long exposure fun.
I could be wrong, but in my experience lately, when people see a camera they really feel a need to get in front of it! While set up for the last few photos above, not only did I have people running over to do silly faces or give the middle finger. But I watched 3 separate people slowly try to inch their way into shots. I find it very bizarre, got a good laugh out of it and made my way out of the park.
Still wanting to do more shots, I walked a trail and found a decent spot for some steel wool shots. I added some components of fireworks to the steel wool (like in my last few steel wool sets) and started to spin!
It was a fun night with some decent results!
