I had totally forgot the CP Holiday Train would be passing through downtown Hamilton last night and it has been an annual tradition of mine to capture different kinds of photos of it. I had just finished dinner when I saw a news article about the train coming to the city and I instantly got ready and rushed out the door. Drone in hand and brainstorming some cool light trail shot ideas.
I stopped by the Go transit station downtown and got setup with literally minutes to spare.
The train is a great Christmas tradition that is described as:
The CP Holiday Train is happy to be back for its 24th year supporting food banks and food shelves across our network by raising money, food and awareness for food insecurity issues.
That's a pretty cool train to photograph!
