Every Christmas season, the city of Hamilton puts on a Christmas display and activities in Gore Park (the downtown core). When my oldest daughter was young they had reindeer that you could feed and a kids train that went around the park. It then evolved into a Ferris wheel because of animal rights activists. Then a random carnival ride and now it has been a Merry Go Round for the last two years. It has been an interesting evolution to watch!
My youngest kids love it and I have been there daily for them. So yesterday I make sure to take them after dark so I could play with some long exposure shots of the ride. The results were surprising! The Merry Go Round looked like a UFO landing in the park lol.
