Goodness gracious look at how purple those leaves are! They look absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to see how much you get during harvest! Those tops are huge and look dense as hell!
Have you had to keep a lower temperature in the tent for this specific strain? Only reason I ask is I've heard that some specific strains, like northern lights and GDP, require a colder climate to turn the colors they do! Is this true, or just a myth?
Thanks man. I’ve tried to keep the temperature at about 68-70 degrees. I’ve grown some colorful strains before but never paid too much attention to keeping the temperature low. I want to try and get it colder in the room, but I don’t think my seedling would be too happy about it.
Ok cool! That seems like a pretty decent temperature, even for "cold hardy" plants, considering how hot it can get during outdoor grows! But that's good to know that you don't absolutely have to keep colder temps to get colorful strains! Yea, I can definitely understand that, I'm sure they don't take to the cold nearly as well as a more developed plant would.
I have a feminized Northern Lights cross strain from ISC that I want to try soon, which is supposed to get pretty colorful, but I was curious if temperature played that big of a roll in the color change or if it just depended on the plant itself lol.
But, I can't wait to see how plump those buds get in the coming weeks!
