The monsoon has ended, but the fog still lingers. They say this year the winter will be much harsher than before, and even though October has just begun, I can already feel it’s colder compared to last year.
बरसात तो खत्म हो गई है, लेकिन धुंध अभी भी छाई हुई है। कह रहे हैं कि इस साल पहले से ज़्यादा सर्दी पड़ेगी, और अभी तो अक्टूबर की शुरुआत ही है, पर मुझे सच में लग रहा है कि पिछले साल के मुकाबले ठंड ज़्यादा है।
These pictures are from a few days ago. It rains on and off, and after that everything looks beautiful, though sometimes I really enjoy the warm sunlight too. I clicked these during sunset when I had gone to buy some things from the shop.
ये तस्वीरें कुछ दिन पहले की हैं। बीच-बीच में बारिश होती रहती है, और उसके बाद सब कुछ बहुत सुंदर लगता है, लेकिन कई बार अच्छी धूप भी बहुत भली लगती है। ये तस्वीरें मैंने तब ली थीं जब मैं सामान लेने दुकान गई थी, उस समय सूरज ढल रहा था।
It felt as if we were living above the clouds… the view was truly beautiful then. But later, when the fog rose higher, the sun disappeared behind it. There were many wires in between because of an electricity pole that supplies connections to every house, so the crisscross of wires spoiled the view a little, but everything else looked wonderful.
ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे हम बादलों के ऊपर रह रहे हों… उस समय नज़ारा वाकई बहुत सुंदर था। फिर जब धुंध ऊपर आई तो सूरज उसमें छिप गया। बीच में बहुत सारी तारें थीं क्योंकि वहाँ एक बिजली का खंभा था जिससे हर घर को कनेक्शन जाता है, तो क्रिस-क्रॉस तारों ने हमारा दृश्य थोड़ा बिगाड़ दिया, लेकिन बाकी सब बहुत अच्छा था।
