Scrolling through my phone gallery the other day, I came across this set of butterfly shots I took on one of my walks...not in any garden, just along a rambling path flanked by wild greenery and spotty blooms.
एक दिन अपने फोन की गैलरी में स्क्रॉल करते हुए, मुझे तितली की कुछ तस्वीरें मिलीं, जो मैंने अपनी सैर के दौरान ली थीं - किसी बगीचे में नहीं, बल्कि जंगली हरियाली और बिखरे फूलों से घिरे एक घुमावदार रास्ते पर।
The first series features a butterfly that immediately grabs attention with its bold, graphic wings. When I first spotted it, I stopped right there, fumbling to open my camera as quietly as I could. Deep brown wings, crisscrossed by white bands and dots..almost like someone painted stained glass and gave it flight. The patterns are so symmetrical, with large white spots on the outer edges and smaller ones marching inward. There’s a thin, icy blue line running across the lower part, too, which adds this pop of cool color against all the earthy shades. Every time I look at those photos, I remember how the butterfly seemed to pose for a moment, wings perfectly flat as if it wanted the world to admire its design.sometimes it looks fierce and strong, other times almost delicate in the wind.
पहली श्रृंखला में एक तितली है जो अपने बोल्ड, ग्राफिक पंखों से तुरंत ध्यान खींचती है। जब मैंने पहली बार इसे देखा, तो मैं वहीं रुक गया, जितना हो सके चुपचाप अपना कैमरा खोलने की कोशिश की। गहरे भूरे रंग के पंख, सफेद पट्टियों और बिंदुओं से घिरे हुए... मानो किसी ने रंगीन कांच को रंग दिया हो और उसे उड़ान दी हो। पैटर्न बहुत सममित हैं, बाहरी किनारों पर बड़े सफेद धब्बे और अंदर की ओर बढ़ते छोटे धब्बे। निचले हिस्से में एक पतली, बर्फीली नीली रेखा भी है, जो सभी मिट्टी के रंगों के खिलाफ ठंडे रंग का एक पॉप जोड़ती है। हर बार जब मैं उन तस्वीरों को देखता हूं, मुझे याद आता है कि कैसे तितली एक पल के लिए पोज देती हुई दिख रही थी, पंख बिल्कुल सपाट जैसे कि वह चाहती हो कि दुनिया उसके डिजाइन की प्रशंसा करे। कभी-कभी यह भयंकर और मजबूत दिखती है।
Switching to the next group from my camera roll, I found this fiery orange butterfly perched on simple white daisies. It's wings blaze with orange and black..the color so strong it almost buzzes against the background. Black-edged, with neat dots trailing along the wings, this butterfly is smaller but nothing short of eye-catching.
अपने कैमरा रोल से अगले समूह पर आते हुए, मैंने एक चटक नारंगी रंग की तितली को साधारण सफ़ेद डेज़ी के फूलों पर बैठे देखा। इसके पंख नारंगी और काले रंग से चमक रहे हैं... रंग इतना गहरा है कि मानो पृष्ठभूमि में भिनभिना रहा हो। काले किनारों वाली, पंखों पर बने साफ़-सुथरे बिंदुओं वाली, यह तितली छोटी ज़रूर है, लेकिन देखने में बेहद आकर्षक है।
This butterfly blended right in with its surroundings. Its wings are a softer brown, sprinkled with tidy light orange spots and subtle lines.
यह तितली अपने आस-पास के वातावरण में बिल्कुल घुल-मिल गई है। इसके पंख हल्के भूरे रंग के हैं, जिन पर साफ़-सुथरे हल्के नारंगी रंग के धब्बे और बारीक रेखाएँ बिखरी हुई हैं।
As I swipe through these photos, I’m reminded that some of my favorite shots aren’t the result of planning, but just everyday luck..nature showing off to whoever bothers to look.🙃
इन तस्वीरों को देखते हुए, मुझे याद आता है कि मेरी कुछ पसंदीदा तस्वीरें किसी योजना का नतीजा नहीं हैं, बल्कि रोज़मर्रा की किस्मत हैं... प्रकृति उन सभी को अपना रूप दिखा रही है जो इसे देखने की ज़हमत उठाते हैं।🙃
