About two months ago, I went hiking in the mountains with two friends. It was exactly the time when wild pears were ripening. We came to this region to get away from the city noise, see flocks of sheep, and taste the fruits that grow in the mountains.
Yaklaşık iki ay önce iki artkadaşımla birlikte dağa doğru yürüyüş yapmıştık. Tam da o dönemde yabani dağ armutlarının olgunlaştığı dönemdi. Hem şehir gürültüsünden uzaklaşmak hem koyun sürülerini görmek hem de dağda yetişen meyveleri tatmak için bu bölgeye geldik.
A stream runs right alongside the road. In high-altitude, mountainous areas, roads generally run right next to streams. As you can see in the photo, the stream is completely filled with trees. Willow trees, in particular, thrive in areas with streams because they love water. There's a water source flowing into the stream from above. As you can see, that side is also covered with trees and grass.
Yolun hemen kenarından dere geçiyor. Rakımı yüksek yerlerde, dağlık alanlarda genelde yollar derenin hemen yanından geçer. Fotoğrafta da gördüğünüz gibi derenin içi tamamıyla ağaçlarla dolu. Özellikle söğüt ağaçları suyu oldukça sevdiği için derenin olduğu alanlarda yetişir. Üst taraftan derenin içine doğru akan bir su kaynağı var. Gördüğünüz gibi o tarafta da ağaçlarla otlarla kaplı.
This area where I took the photo is where we picked wild pears. We were a little late for the harvest, but we still managed to pick a few. There were enough for all of us. Wild pears have a long-lasting taste, so eating just a few is enough. They are quite firm, but they start to soften during the harvest season. They develop a more pleasant taste when they get a little wet in the rain. The taste is quite impressive. We drove a bit off the road. My friend's car looks like a toy car.
Fotoğrafı çektiğim bu alan yabani dağ armutlarını topladığımız yer. Hasat zamanı için biraz geciktik ancak yine de bir kaç tane topladık. Hepimize yetti. Dağ armutları damakta uzun süre kalan tadı olduğu için bir kaç tane yemek yeterli. Oldukça sert olan dağ armutları hasat döneminde yumuşamaya başlar. Yağmur altında biraz ıslandı mı daha hoş bir tadı oluşmaya başlar. Tadı oldukça etkileyici. Yoldan bir miktar uzaklaştık. Arkadaşımın arabası oyuncak araba gibi gözüküyor.
Getting away from the city noise, walking in the fresh air, chatting with my beloved friends, laughing, and having fun is incredibly enjoyable. In such environments, time flies by. It's difficult to stop time, to interrupt its flow. While time flies by quickly in fun environments, in stressful, problematic places, time doesn't flow at all; it remains as it is, stopped, and staying in those places feels like torture.
Şehir gürültüsünden uzaklaşıp temiz havada yürümek, sevdiğim arkadaşlarımla sohbet etmek, gülmek, eğlenmek oldukça keyif verici. Böyle ortamlarda zaman hızlıca akıp gidiyor. Zamanı durdurmak, akışını engellemek zor oluyor. Eğlenceli ortamlarda zaman hızlıca akarken stresli, problemli yerlerde zaman hiç akmaz, olduğu gibi kalır durdurulur ve ortamlarda kalmak, orada bulunmak gibi zulüm gibi gelir.
