There's a railway crossing about 20 km from where I live. The train tracks run from here all the way to Ankara. According to the website, the total length of the tracks is 1260 km. Passenger transport takes place two days a week, and freight transport on the other days. This is considered the final stop. The cargo unloaded here is transported by ferries to Van and from there to Iran.

One of my friends said he wanted to shoot an amateur music video on the train tracks. He asked us to accompany him. A total of four of us went to the area where the train tracks are located. The snow that had fallen in the city a few days earlier was still on the tracks. Because of the high altitude and the cold weather, the snow remained on the tracks without melting.

Gravel is spread along the train tracks. While these stones provide safety, they also help the snow melt faster. The main purpose isn't snow melting itself, but they are beneficial in melting the snow.

This area is where the railway connects to the road. Naturally, it's a rather dangerous area. When a train is about to pass, the gates next to the tracks close on the road. Barriers are automatically placed at the road side, thus ensuring safety on both sides. I wanted to photograph the snow-covered railway tracks. The tracks look quite aesthetically pleasing with the snow cover. I hope you liked the photos.
Bu bölge tren yolunun kara yolu ile bağlantısı olduğu bölge. Haliyle oldukça tehlikeli olan bir bölge. Tren geçmeye yakın olduğu vakit kara yolu ile rayların yanında bulunan kapılar kapanır. Kara yolunun olduğu yere engeller otomatik şekilde konulur böylece iki taraflı güvenlik sağlanmış olur. Karlı tren raylarını görünce fotoğraflamak istedim.
