When I first saw the first picture (the spirits of war) I thought they were totem poles.
Thankfully this project isn't just sitting in the warehouse and rotting away. Glad to see them restored, there are actually many beautiful artworks by died artist that have vanished just because nobody took care of them.
I'm sure if Ion Vlasiu can see how his lifetime works are being taken care of and appreciated, he would be smiling.
