Hello everybody! Today I want to show you three different versions of a shot I edited yesterday. The post-processing of the first version, as you can see above, was done in Lightroom. Here I focused mainly on the image composition and the colour grading.
Hallo zusammen! Heute möchte ich euch drei verschiedene Versionen von einer Aufnahme zeigen, die ich gestern bearbeitet habe. Die Nachbearbeitung der ersten Version, wie ihr sie oberhalb seht, erfolgte in Lightroom. Hier fokussierte ich mich hauptsächlich auf die Bildkomposition und das Color Grading.
For the second version I wanted to be a bit more creative and went over to Photoshop to apply a motion blur filter to the background. This way I wanted to bring the building even more into focus and give the image a surreal look.
Für die zweite Version wollte ich etwas kreativer sein und ging über zu Photoshop, um einen Bewegungsunschärfe-Filter auf den Hintergrund anzuwenden. So wollte ich das Gebäude noch stärker in den Fokus rücken und dem Bild einen surrealen Look geben.
As for the third version, it was my idea to adapt the photo to the current wintry season in Chicago. So I used some snowfall overlays and tweaked the colour temperature a bit to create this impression of a frosty night. Now I'm left with the question, which version do you like the most?
Was die dritte Version betrifft, war es meine Idee, das Foto an die aktuelle, winterliche Jahreszeit in Chicago anzupassen. Ich nutzte deshalb ein paar Schneefall-Overlays und schraubte etwas an der Farbtemperatur, um diesen Eindruck einer frostigen Nacht zu erzeugen. Nun bleibt mir nur die Frage, welche Version gefällt euch am besten?
