Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a good start to the new year. Today I would like to show you two new glass ball photos. Both were taken just a few minutes apart on a cloudy afternoon in Seattle. The Helix Bridge, which opened in 2004, offered me ideal conditions for lensball photos with its tunnel-shaped structure. While the first photo appears very soft due to the open aperture, I used a more closed aperture for the second shot, which allows the bridge structure to be clearly recognised not only in the sphere, but also in the background.
Hallo zusammen! Hoffe ihr seid alle gut ins neue Jahr gestartet. Heute möchte ich euch mal wieder zwei neue Glaskugel-Fotos zeigen. Beide entstanden mit einem Abstand von nur wenigen Minuten an einem wolkenverhangenen Nachmittag in Seattle. Die 2004 eröffnete Helix Bridge bot mir mit ihrer tunnelförmigen Struktur ideale Voraussetzungen für Lensball-Fotos. Während das erste Foto durch die offene Blende sehr weich erscheint, verwendete ich für die zweite Aufnahme eine geschlossenere Blende, wodurch man die Brückenkostruktion nicht nur in der Kugel, sondern auch im Hintergrund gut erkennen kann.
