Hello everyone! Today I'd like to present you with another little tutorial for a composing idea. When I put this composing idea into practice for the first time and posted it on social media, I was pretty overwhelmed by the reactions. It caused an incredible wow effect. However, it's not that difficult to create a puddle portal if you find the right perspective.
Hallo zusammen! Heute möchte ich euch mal wieder ein kleines Tutorial für eine Composing-Idee präsentieren. Als ich diese Composing-Idee das erste Mal umsetzte und auf Social Media postete, war ich ziemlich überwältigt von den Reaktionen. Es sorgte für einen unglaublichen Wow-Effekt. Dabei ist es gar nicht so schwierig, ein Pfützen-Portal zu erstellen, wenn man eine passende Perspektive findet.
In the example you can see the two photos I took for this composing. I took the first photo from an elevated position - from a bridge overlooking a road. The second shot was taken as I was walking along the same road and found a long puddle. I photographed it at roughly the same angle (diagonally downwards) as in the first shot. This is particularly important for this composing. You should use approximately the same downward angle for both photos.
Im Beispiel seht ihr die beiden Fotos, die ich für dieses Composing erstellte. Das erste Foto schoss ich aus erhöhter Position – von einer Brücke mit Blick auf eine Straße. Das zweite Bild entstand, als ich genau diese Straße entlangspazierte und eine langgezogene Pfütze fand. Ich fotografierte sie ungefähr mit dem gleichen Winkel (schräg nach unten) wie in der ersten Aufnahme. Das ist für dieses Composing besonders wichtig. Ihr solltet für beide Fotos ungefähr den gleichen Blickwinkel nach unten verwenden.
At home on the computer, I edited the image of the road according to my taste in Lightroom and copied the editing settings to the photo of the puddle. I then layered both shots in Photoshop and used a layer mask to replace the water in the puddle with the view of the road. Here it is important to work precisely on the edges to make the illusion appear as realistic as possible. And that was all you need to do. You see, it’s very easy to create such a Puddle Portal. Here I show you another example of a puddle portal that I created in the same way as just described.
Zuhause am Computer bearbeitete ich das Bild von der Straße nach meinem Geschmack in Lightroom und kopierte die Bearbeitungseinstellungen auf das Foto von der Pfütze. Anschließend legte ich beide Aufnahmen in Photoshop als Ebenen übereinander und nutzte eine Ebenenmaske, um das Wasser in der Pfütze durch den Blick auf die Straße zu ersetzen. Auch hier ist es wichtig, an den Rändern genau zu arbeiten, um die Illusion möglichst wirklichkeitsnah erscheinen zu lassen. Und das war auch schon alles. Ihr seht, es ist sehr einfach, ein solches Pfützenportal zu erstellen. Hier zeige ich dir noch ein weiteres Beispiel für ein Pfützen-Portal, das ich auf dieselbe Art und Weise erstellt habe, wie soeben beschrieben.
