Lights, framing and... children's photography session! Don't be afraid to take pictures of those "crazy little kids", as Serrat would say. When photographing children, whether for professional work or not, keep in mind that they are children first and foremost and that everything you had planned for the session can change like the direction of the wind. Practice makes perfect, photographing children is a daily school (never better said). The first thing to do if you don't know how to approach a children's photography session is to get ideas about framing, shots, environments... Look in children's fashion magazines or photographers' websites, for example, and take it to your field.
The best times to photograph children are usually in the morning or afternoon, and I'll tell you why: in theory the child should be rested, they should have slept well, so the morning is ideal for photographing them. The afternoon is also good as long as the child has had a nap, so they will also arrive rested and will be able to help you with your work and enjoy it, so everyone will be happy. It is important to know that they are the ones in charge. You are not the one "directing" the session, they are. A tired child may mean that you have to suspend the session and wait for another day. Working with children means that time limits, imposed schedules and all those things that are so common in other types of work don't work here.

Luces, encuadre y… ¡sesión de fotografía infantil! No tengas miedo a retratar a esos “locos bajitos”, como diría Serrat. Cuando fotografías niños, ya sea para un trabajo profesional o no, ten en cuenta que ante todo son niños y que todo lo que habías planeado para la sesión puede cambiar como la dirección del viento. La práctica hace maestros, fotografiar niños es una escuela diaria (nunca mejor dicho). Lo primero que hay que hacer si no sabes cómo plantear una sesión de fotografía infantil es coger ideas sobre encuadres, planos, entornos… Busca en revistas de moda infantil o páginas de fotógrafos, por ejemplo, y llévalo a tu terreno.
Los mejores horarios para fotografiar niños suelen ser por la mañana o por la tarde, y te diré por qué: en teoría el niño debe haber descansado, tiene que haber dormido bien, por eso la mañana es ideal para fotografiarlos. Por la tarde también nos valdría siempre y cuando el niño haya hecho la siesta, así también llegará descansado y podrá facilitarte el trabajo y disfrutar de él, así todos contentos. Es importante que sepas que ellos son los que mandan. Tú no eres quien “dirige” la sesión, lo hacen ellos. Un niño cansado puede hacer que tengas que suspender la sesión y esperar a otro día. Trabajar con niños hace que límites de horas, imposiciones de horarios y todas esas cosas tan habituales en otro tipo de trabajo aquí no sirvan.

I have never done studio photography, but I know how to recognize a good one when I look at it, and I can say yours are great in lighting management and the arrangement in general, excellent! I recommend you use more larger base files (at least 1280 or 1600 px in the small side) to avoid them looking slightly pixelated on large monitors (I, for example, usually visit #Hive from a PC almost all the time) Obviously, on mobile screens this may not be noticeable. But apart from that detail, it seems to me that your work is very good and worthy of being followed and supported!... Keep doing the goor work!
