It's always a given; every time I go out, my photo series always includes shots related to architecture. It's very common, of course; I live in a city where everything is architecture, and you can appreciate the immense buildings from different angles. It's a great feat of design and construction by modern man, something that has always existed, only evolving, from the first moment humans began carving stones and shaping them, through ancient civilizations with their grand constructions, to the present day where we see vast metropolises adorned with these magnificent designs.

Now, for this occasion, as you can see, I'm presenting all the photographs in black and white. The way I see it is about finding that perspective that shapes the different architectural styles, combined with the contrast of black and white to balance those tones. Regardless of the color, what matters most in this case are the lines of each of these images, whether silhouettes, shapes, or the very geometry of the buildings' designs.

Although, as I often say, the city where I live isn't known for its grand buildings, it does have a few structures that possess value and interest in their own design, making them stand out in the city and, of course, becoming icons of a city like the one I live in.

All photographs are my own.
