For me, a photographic canvas is an approximation of photography and painting. Although they can of course be two different fields of art, they ultimately have a lot in common. Painting has certainly existed since the beginning of humanity, in a constant search for expression and communication. Photography, as something so-called scientific, gradually adopted elements of painting that serve as part of the creation and composition of images. Otherwise, it wouldn't have evolved as we know it today.

First and foremost, it's about visual communication. It's about observing and interpreting images captured in part on a canvas or in a photograph, but it's also about creating harmony with aspects such as the rule of thirds, grayscale and tonalities, perspective, figure and background. In short, a myriad of aspects that photography has adopted from photography to better interpret what we see in our surroundings.

Today, I'm presenting this sample of a series that incorporates a touch of those elements characterized by details, contrasts, and textures. It's my interpretation of this visual world, of everything I see and want to capture, starting from the simplest, what's there but sometimes overlooked.
