It was a sort of crumbling Soviet-like office center, I came in out of curiosity, and took an elevator. The 5th floor hosted only a cheap foul-smelling restaurant. I checked the 4th one and found a cramped white corridor full of offices. Then, I pressed the lucky number 3 in the elevator. From the first look, it wasn't special either but I kept following the narrow corridor... This is how I found a way to sneak into an old factory established in the XIX century.

First, I found myself in an unusual place full of light with not many people around.
Then, the scenery has changed dramatically:
Dark corridors, dusty walls, chemical smell everywhere.
I can see it clearly: a chainsaw swing, and blood spatters onto the wall. It can be a great spot to shoot a horror movie.
The place resembles those that appear in nightmares when you follow corridors and run up the stairs and do not understand which floor you are and how to find an exit. Have you had such nightmares?
That's where a victim, before being butchered, would try to leave through that leaf window. Using a rope can help you to reach it but who would hear you except those crows who are used to having feast on human flash and bones?
To be honest, I already knew where I was. I took pictures of these buildings from the outside but never knew how to get inside.
These are corridors in several buildings of a former textile factory which was founded in 1834 by a Swiss. But workshops of that time have not been preserved. What we have today are buildings contructed in 1899-1914 as citywalls.ru states. Today they rent out premises to industrial companies but most doors are locked. There is something new there as well: first loft bars and restaurants have appeared in the seaside wing, as well as a small underground theater, a second-hand shop with books and clothes, a photo studio and, probably, something else.
Initially, the ad was saying: entering the territory of the workshop for persons not engaged in production is prohibited. But some joker changed the meaning to the opposite. I believe 2022 is a unique year when you already can visit the place but it still looks authentic. Almost authentic:
Written: Covid-19. Quarantine. This creative alert sign says that the art is entering this formerly exclusively working class corridor.
We will kill junkies, it is said. They, first of all, have in mind the youth under amusement and consciousness-expanding substances.
Sex should be in every story. I guess this beauty cast a spell over more than one worker from a faraway country following back to a dormitory after a hard working day. Russian girls are so unapproachable but you seem to be different, lady mermaid. Can we rest together?
Sometimes, a corridor turns out to be a dead end. Then, find a door with the sign "Exit" and walk down or up the staircases - there are many and every one is worth exploring.
An entrance to the roof is closed by a heavy steel door with a strict prohibiting writing. On the ceiling, there is soot - probably, traces of fire in the factory.
If you think about ghosts, you are right perhaps - I guess some workers could choke to death during fires of the past. Imagine a fire accident in the factory and look at a picture below, and you'll know what I mean:
A trap for smoke and people. Big buildings which consist of mazes of corridors without windows are always a trap.
(To be fair, there are a lot of fire extinguishers in the buildings).
I loved this dark monochrome corridor. And again, spatters of blood would fit it. Horror movie directors, ay!
When you don't see windows for a while, you begin to feel that you are in an underground level. They don't have one... I believe...
Perfect settings for a movie about forbidden experiments on humans.
At last... The sky and the sun do exist, it's not a mind game.
Time to leave, time to breathe freely.

Какова структура сегодня - не знаю, но я видел там строительное и отделочное, что-то пилят, мужики ходють, таджики в касках, один из которых даже меня спросил с надеждой: "а вы розетки умеете делать?" (Вероятно, у кого-то буду проблемы с розетками, но там очень много огнетушителей, так что, скорее всего, обойдется).
