I had some time to kill the other morning while I waited for my daughter so I headed out to a little part of our area called Noordhoek Common.
It’s lovely for walking and the surrounding mountains are spectacular, but this day I only focussed on the trees and textures along with this lone, broken swing. The moody weather and shadows played together beautifully with the miserable swing.
Usually in the afternoon and evening this area is filled with young families with energetic kids and folk walking their dogs. But I enjoy walking in nature and watching the slow horses amble around the paddock.

This was a sunny gorgeous day and contrasts with the first series. It’s more light hearted and inviting. Same location, different day.

Yes it is! We love the outdoors so much. We try to do something outside everyday.
Having an open area to amble around in without driving anywhere makes the world of a difference, enjoy!
Yes it does. It’s been lovely to at least see folk walking freely in this space. I happened to be there off-peak time so it was beautifully quiet.
