These days, seems like people really love a good scandal. I have no doubt that lately, people do indeed love gossip and bad news. Such as is observed daily in the newscasts, mainstream media and social networks in general. The bad news is what really sells and the good news nobody cares a damn.

I suspect that this is because lately and for a long time now, people feel too miserable and enjoy it more if they find out that everyone is in the same condition as them or worse than them. But never better than them. Since that would take away the morbidity and the fun to watch the news. Where would be the fun if you discover that others are in a better situation than you?

And that's precisely what the 24-hour news broadcasts exploit along the mainstream media and the most popular social networks of mass consumption. Because each of them already knows very well that it's precisely this sort of disastrous news full of chaos, gossip, confrontations, revenge, misery and devastation. Those that attract the largest number of sponsors and advertising revenue through their nefarious programming.

Since basically, it is precisely the income from advertising that most television stations, the mass media and social networks in general live on and depend on exclusively. It's been a long time since television plants actually stopped producing shows, movie series, opera soaps and comedy sitcoms as creative products that could be exported and sold internationally and generate enough income that would justify all the effort and payment of wages in its production. Nah! it was too much work.

Yup, too much work and a very large and bulging payroll to maintain and have to take care of if what they only wanted was just to fatten the pockets of its owners, investors and shareholders. Especially since cable and subscription TV companies started to appear and were already beginning to take a big slice of the advertising, marketing and promotional pie revenue away from the major TV networks.

And to top it off, then when the technological advances in the bandwidth that the stupid and consumerist populace was already beginning to enjoy through the Internet and that gave way and origin to TV streaming services. It was right there that they understood that they could not compete financially with them and they handed over the baton of audiovisual content production only to them.

To the OTT & VoD behemoths like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, YouTubeTV, Sling TV among many others. Although yeah, well, it is true and it must be clarified that these companies do not produce entirely all their content at home and they also license the content from some other traditional producing houses and content providers for a substantial fee as would be expected.

But hey, in any case that was not the most relevant thing to highlight here. Though, what is really important to take into account, it is the fact that the big television networks and public broadcast TV stations as ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC just to name a few. They, along with a large group of others in that style, they all basically became suddenly into a 24-hour news channel. All repeating and copying from each other the same stories and news without any background research to differentiate them... except for the narrative of their own agenda and political bias that motivate them to present the news in a particular way to their perceived captive audience.

But uhm, erm... again. ¿What have to do the ass with the eyelashes? you are probably wondering now! I mean, you might be wondering what has to do what the title of this post suggests with everything I've written so far, right?

Uhm, well, yeah, I think you're right. Looks like it really has nothing to do one thing with the other. Because what I originally had in mind was to write something much much deeper and straight to the point. But apparently, I got excited about what I was writing and I let my enthusiam and verbiage get out of hand and I made this post already too long for what I really wanted to highlight.

So, I think that for now I will only leave this post here as a simple bait so that later the brainless assholes of spaminator, hivewatcher and adm come to steal from me in a bad way the four cents that I usually gather in my publications and that the SOB cocksucker of guiltyparties with the team of bastard motherfuckers and retards who work with him, have at least some work to do in about six or seven days because they are such an incurable schmucks that they will never learn their lesson.

Nonetheless, and to not disappoint you too much. Allow me then just to add at the end of this post. The chapter IV of a very interesting documentary of twelve chapters that surely will open your eyes a lot to everything I alluded to above in relation to the mainstream media content and the sort of news broadcasts that you will find in them. Yep, exactly, that's right. In none of them you will find, not even by chance, that they tell you some historic facts and events objectively, with no bias and as they really could have happened. Cuz believing or not what you see and hear is just your decision!

But concentrating exclusively on describing the majestic and effective marketing campaign that I've been doing for Hive lately on mainstream media, main news services, popular and massive social networks and other less conventional information outlets. I guess someone will have to tell a credible story at some point. ¿Isn't it?
