I'm back! Sorry it's been some time and I know everyone has been dying for another sauna thought, so here you go.
Over the past couple of years women's sports, specifically basketball, have been trying to get more people to tune into their games. I'm not too familiar with the WNBA, so not sure how much their viewership has increased. Anyway, I was watching the WNBA vs USAW, in where else but the sauna, and had a great idea. What if the NBA and WNBA had a mixed all star game. This would be separate from their own leagues all star games. I'll be the first to admit it, I don't think I've watched a WNBA game but I think I would watch this, partially at least, I think all star games in all sports have become corny and not worth watching. But having a mixed experience would be cool to watch, not to mention exposure for the WNBA.
The first argument for this will definitely be the physicality of the men over the women but that doesn't matter the NBA game is a joke and all they do is dunk so why not do it. Most NBA players talk about how much people should support the women's league, so why not help them out with this game.
This could be a terrible idea, I might just be overheated right now. But why not shock everyone and do something cool. Better than seeing the same NBA all star game every year. Let me know what everyone thinks because I am genuinely curios about this.
