Hand colored with colored pencils: Accordion

in Rising Star Game5 days ago

How are you, friends? I hope you're doing super well, and I send you hugs from afar. As I promised a few days ago, here I am with a new drawing for all of you. Today's drawing is of a well-known instrument called the accordion. You can buy it if you want by searching the card market for the ID number i64. That way, you'll be able to easily find it and buy it if you want to expand your deck collection.

You've probably heard the accordion before; it's one of the most well-known instruments. When I see them or hear their sound, I immediately associate them with two things: French music and Mexican ranchera music. I've seen many French films, and this instrument is often used in them to create a warm, urban atmosphere. It tends to convey tranquility. It's also used a lot in romantic scenes where a couple travels to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. That's why I always associate it with scenes in Paris. I'm sure many of you have experienced the same thing.

Some of my friends also listen to a lot of Mexican ranchera music; that music is the equivalent of American country, but in a Mexican version. Many bands, like Los Tigres del Norte, feature this instrument as a central part of their band. So, I think with that information, you've understood why I associate it with those two songs.

Now, talking a little about the accordion itself, I'll explain what it's all about. But don't worry, I'll explain it simply. It's a large bag of compressed air. When you squeeze it, air comes out through some nozzles, which are what create the music. That's the essence of it. But of course, it's much more complex. The nozzles can produce music by filling the bag with air and also by letting it out. That's why when we see someone playing the accordion, we see them close and open it—this is to take in more air and let it out. But it can play in both directions.

Some models, especially the more professional ones, have keyboards and many extra buttons. With these, the player has much more control over the notes produced. But of course, it's much more complicated to play. There are also much simpler ones with just the bellows and some buttons, but no keys. Those are the ones you see a lot in Paris movies. Now I want you to see the completed drawing.

Friends, with those two final images, I've finished today's drawing. And that's how, as I was telling you about the Accordion, you saw how I did it. I'll be back in a few days with a new drawing; stay tuned to my blog. Big hugs.
