Hand colored with colored pencils: Brass Piccolo

in Rising Star Game9 days ago

Hugs to all my friends. You know, I've drawn a picture by hand and I'm eager for you all to see it. I drew a new wind instrument, one of my favorites, by the way. It's called the Brass Piccolo. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a very charming flute, part of the flute and trumpet family. I'll tell you why in a moment. In the meantime, take a look at the first images of the drawing process.

As I was saying, the Brass Piccolo is related to flutes and trumpets. That's because, on the one hand, you blow into it like a regular flute. But on the other hand, it has valves that must be pressed to create the music, just like trumpets. It's an interesting combination of both. Its size is small, somewhere between the size of a clarinet and a standard flute.

I have to tell you, I haven't seen this instrument much, not even on major social media platforms. I've only heard its music a couple of times, very few indeed. It was in a video of military music; it was very beautiful. The Brass Piccolo was among the instruments of the military band. Its shape is very familiar to me, which is why I recognized it.

In case you're wondering, it's made of metal, but there are wooden versions as well. I think almost every instrument in the world has a wooden version; it's the universal material.

Friends, in the pictures you can see how I made the drawing. In the first ones, you saw how I drew the base of the deck with a regular pencil, and then how I drew the Brass Piccolo. Next came the coloring with colored pencils, and finally, the finished drawing and some of the materials used so you can see them alongside the final result.

Thanks, friends, for viewing this drawing and my post. Hugs, and look forward to a new drawing soon.
