Hand colored with colored pencils: Tuba

in Rising Star Game8 days ago

How are you guys? Today I hand-drawn one of the largest and heaviest wind instruments in existence, the tuba. You can find it identified in the game with the number i47. The tuba is a truly unusual instrument; it works just like a trumpet but on a much larger scale. Many models are over a meter long and can weigh several pounds. That's why it's common to play them sitting down, to help the player support the weight more comfortably.

To play it, it has buttons on one side that, when pressed, open and close valves. These valves are what create the notes. I think the part that stands out the most in the entire tuba is the largest part of the cornet. It's what makes it the largest in its family. As you can imagine, since it's so large, most of its notes are quite low, and the high notes require a lot of effort from the musician because you have to blow very hard.

In groups of instruments, it's almost always placed at the end so it doesn't overpower those in front; its sound is very loud. I once said here that my favorite instruments are wind instruments, and I think the tuba is one of my favorites, but of course the flute wins the top spot. So, while I've been talking about the tuba, you've seen how I drew it. How about we see how I colored it?

I colored the tuba yellow. I really like that color. In fact, anything gold is beautiful, and when combined with music, it's the best of both worlds. The pencil isn't completely gold, but I tried to get it.

When I finished drawing and coloring my drawing by hand it looked like this:

A hug and I hope to return soon, with a new drawing.
