I'm sending you all a hug. How's your day going? I truly hope you're having a great time. This time I'm back here for this lovely and fantastic community because I intend to show you the hand-drawn version of the Vibra Slap musical instrument. This instrument is represented on the i232 deck. For those who've never seen it, it may seem a bit strange because of its shape, but it's actually very interesting, and the music it makes is beautiful.
If you look at the photos I left above, you can see its exact shape, which is why some might find it strange. It has a spring in the middle with a very curved shape in several directions. But it's like that for a reason: to function as a spring. To understand this, also look at its three parts. One is a wooden ball at one end of the spring, and at the other end is a square box shaped like the kind that calves usually carry. All three parts work simultaneously.
Someone hits the spring, then it starts moving, repeatedly hitting the ball against the wooden bell. And there you have it, this is how it makes its beautiful music. The wooden bell actually makes the sound much louder.
As you can see, although it seems strange, it's easy to understand, although playing it is a different story.
Songs using this are more common in Latin American music, such as merengue and others. So far, I've shown you how I made the initial drawing, including the pencil outline, the base, and the Vibra Slap. I also showed you how I colored it. Now, I'll share how it turned out at this point.
It's almost done. Finally, I used my black marker to highlight the important parts and leave it ready for the final photo. Here I've completed it, and you can also see some of the materials I used to make the drawing.
A big hug and have a nice evening everyone.
