Real Estate Unveils Tour Dates and New Album "Daniel," Shares Video for Lead Single
Indie rock ensemble Real Estate has set the stage for their upcoming sixth studio album, "Daniel," slated for release on February 23 through Domino Records. Accompanying this announcement is the debut of the lead single, "Water Underground," presented alongside a nostalgic music video inspired by "The Adventures of Pete & Pete."
The video, directed by Edmond Hawkins, features actors Danny Tamberelli and Michael C. Maronna, well-known for their roles in the classic 1990s sitcom. Filmed in suburban New Jersey, close to the hometowns of several band members, the visual evokes a sense of local connection and nostalgia. Tamberelli expressed, "The video brings it full circle and adding my dear old friends from the show into the fold really tied it all together."
"Daniel" marks Real Estate's follow-up to their 2020 album, "The Main Thing," and the subsequent 2021 EP, "Half a Human." The upcoming album was crafted over nine days in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Daniel Tashian.
Following the album's release, Real Estate will embark on a 2024 North American tour, commencing in Vancouver in early March and concluding at the end of May. The tour promises a diverse lineup of support, featuring Florry, Marina Allen, and Water From Your Eyes at various stops.
With the anticipation building for "Daniel," Real Estate enthusiasts can look forward to the band's signature sound and a fresh musical journey in the coming months.
