Good morning, Rising Star community. Today I'm going to create a story for the R624 Boastie card.
BOASTIE

Boastie was born in Jamaica because her parents spent a few years there for work. Her parents were born in the US.
When Boastie turned three, the entire family returned to the United States. Boastie's parents were hardworking and very religious. Boastie has no memories of Jamaica. Getting to know his homeland was a long-standing issue for him.
He was a normal child. He played all day and got into mischief. He received a lot of love from his parents. His parents had a big dream: for Boastie to be the first member of his family to graduate from university and study a major. From the moment Boastie was born, his parents began saving to pay for Boastie's college education in the future.

Boastie was a good student in school, earning good grades, which made his parents proud.
Boastie graduated from high school with an honors diploma.

But when the time came to decide how to move on with his life, he chose to take a year off to explore his home country. His parents expected him to choose a university to study at. This led to a family conflict. But Boastie had a need to know the country of his birth.
As soon as he arrived in Jamaica's capital city, he fell in love with the country, reggae, and Rastafarian culture.
It didn't take him long to smoke cannabis and he really enjoyed it.

When he returned to the US, he seemed like a different person. His parents were scared. Boastie wanted to be a singer in a reggae band. It was a huge shock for his parents because they saw their dream of their son going to college fading away.
Boastie began frequenting places related to reggae culture and recruiting musicians to form his band.
Out of desperation, Boastie's parents kicked him out of the house. They couldn't accept his desire to be a musician. They wanted a college graduate.
Boastie went to live with another member of his band.
Boastie's band rehearsed for a long time, but they sounded bad. They couldn't fix that.
The band began performing in public but couldn't make any progress.
The band lasted a year. It eventually dissolved because they couldn't make progress or earn enough to support themselves.
After spending a few months feeling hungry, Boastie decided to give in to the system. He gave up his dream of being a professional musician and returned to his parents' house, begging their forgiveness.
class="text.justify">He got a part-time job and behaved like an adult. After a while, his parents offered to pay for his college education and help with his expenses.
Boastie accepted his parents' proposal. He went to college to study law and earned a law degree. His parents fulfilled their dream for their son. They saw their son graduate as a lawyer.
Boastie moved to New York and worked as a corporate lawyer. He was able to start his own family. He never returned to the music world.

Buen día comunidad de Rising Star. Hoy voy a crear una historia para la tarjeta R624 Boastie.

Boastie Nació en Jamaica porque sus padres pasaron algunos años allí por cuestiones de trabajo. Sus padres nacieron en EE.UU.
Cuando Boastie cumplió tres años de edad la familia completa volvió a Estados Unidos. Los padres de Boastie eran trabajadores y muy religiosos. Boastie no tiene recuerdos de Jamaica. Conocer su país natal era una cuenta pendiente para él.
Fue un niño normal. Jugaba todo el día y hacía travesuras. Recibió mucho amor de sus padres. Sus padres tenían un gran sueño, que Boastie fuera el primer miembro de la familia en recibirse en la universidad estudiando una carrera importante. Desde el nacimiento de Boastie sus padres comenzaron a ahorrar para pagar en el futuro la universidad de Boastie.

Boastie era un buen alumno en la escuela, tenía buenas calificaciones y eso provocaba orgullo en sus padres.
Boastie terminó la escuela secundaria obteniendo un diploma de honor.

Pero cuando llego el momento de decidir como seguía su vida prefirió tomarse un año de descanso para conocer su país natal. Sus padres esperaban que eligiera una universidad para ir a estudiar. Hubo un conflicto familiar por eso. Pero Boastie tenía la necesidad de conocer el país donde nació.
Ni bien llego a la ciudad capital de Jamaica, , se enamoró del país, del reggae y de la cultura rastafari.
Tardo poco tiempo en fumar cannabis y le gusto mucho hacerlo.

Cuando regresó a EEUU parecía otra persona. Sus padres se asustaron. Boastie quería ser cantante de un grupo de Reggae. Fue un gran shock para sus padres porque veían como su sueño de que su hijo fuera universitario se desvanecía.
Boastie empezó a frecuentar lugares relacionados a la cultura reggae y a reclutar músicos para formar su banda musical.
Como acto de desesperación los padres de Boastie lo hecharon de la casa. No aceptaban que quisiera se músico. Ellos querían un profesional universitario.
Boastie fue a vivir a la casa de otro miembro de su banda mucical.
La banda de Boastie ensayaba mucho tiempo pero sonaban mal. Eso no pudieron arreglarlo.
La banda comenzó a presentarse en público pero no lograba avanzar.
La banda duro un año unida. Se terminó disolviendo porque no lograban avanzar ni obtener ingresos para sostenerse.
Boastie luego de pasar unos meses sintiendo hambre tomo la decisión de rendirse al sistema. Dejó el sueño de ser un músico profesional y volvió a la casa de sus padres pidiéndoles perdón.
class="text.justify">Consiguió un empleo de madio tiempo y se comportó como un adulto. Al cabo de un tiempo sus padres le propusieron pagarle la universidad y ayudarlo con sus gastos.
Boastie aceptó la propuesta de sus padres. Fue a la universidad a estudia leyes y se recibió como abogado. Sus padres cumplieron el sueño que tenía para su hijo. Vieron recibirse de abogado a su hijo.
Boastie se mudo a Nueva York y trabajó como abogado corporativo. Logró formar su propia familia. Nunca regresó al mundo de la música.

Sounds like Boastie is going to end up signing his own divorce one day. Poor guy, never found out about web3 and online music communities that would have allowed him to be a musician online and lawyer IRL. Oh well.
