Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I wasn't able to spare more time like I wanted to last week so I expect my numbers to be down this week. However, I am still grinding out the starbits and I did get a good pack opening this week. Of course, I didn't open those packs until today so it might not help my ranking for today.

I decided to give out another musician this week because they are very useful for old and new players alike.
The giveaway item is R147 Leon and it has 150 fans, 75 skill, 4 luck, and 2 income modifier. All musicians help quite a bit and it will help the people to unlock more missions. This musician also has more skills than fans so it will help if you have too much ego.

Current Status
My earnings this week are about 230k starbits. Without the seasonal missions, I have tried maximizing my energy usage to make the most of the starbits I can earn. There were quite a few periods where my account was idle and off missions so I think I could have gotten over 250k starbits. I didn't do as many music lessons as I thought I would so my ego raised more compared to the skill I got from missions. Although I don't think it's such a big issue right now due to my current lead and it hasn't affected my earnings yet.
From my packs, I did not get anything notable. Last week, I talked about buying the last Valentine Violin but when I checked last night, there were no cheap copies on the market. I don't think it's worth it to pay over 40k starbits for a single violin so I will skip it and I will check in for a cheaper copy in the future.

I am a few ranks down from last week but I kind of expected it because I wasn't as active. It seems like my ranking is more or less stuck in the rank 50-60 range and I feel that that is fine for now.

Tips (source)
I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.
- Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
- Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
- Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
- Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
- If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
- If you have more fans than skill and you want reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
- Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards- Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
- When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
- Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.

It helps you understand the game. Like Pizza slices and pizza boxes help you do missions even when energy is low and you need a refill. Having more of an instrument means you will get more skill points from music lessons.
