Having fame and resources doesn't mean having fun, or that you'll always live a relaxed life. Quite the opposite, the more fame and money you have, the more worries you'll have. Bruce is a world-famous singer and guitarist. Throughout his career, he has become very wealthy and, above all, very loved by his fans. He has learned the hard way that fame and money can sometimes add pressure to us, which, if we don't know how to handle, can destroy us. Over the years of his career, he has made a name for himself; he is synonymous with quality and, above all, talent. Two things that often don't come hand in hand.
For as long as he can remember, he has been in charge of the most important part of all his songs: he is their writer and composer. For him, these two things have always been a priority, and he has never let others do it for him. This is directly related to his success and the results he has had so far, because he has always been the same. But not long ago, when he was at the top, where it seemed he couldn't fall, where everyone wanted to reach, something happened to him that he himself never thought he would see.

Things happened gradually, not suddenly. Little by little, he let himself be carried away by the pressure of this commercial world and tried to fit in too closely with everyone and with many generations of people at the same time in his songs. So to speak, he somewhat lost his musical bearings, aiming for who he wanted to direct his music to. This, coupled with the pressure of staying famous and not losing his fortune, began to create a whole mess of problems. Slowly, all this pressure, which he had previously controlled but now controlled him, took its toll. And it began to be very noticeable in the results that followed.
Among the first things to be affected was his ability to write music. He now focused more on what others liked and, above all, aimed at a very broad audience, perhaps too broad. Furthermore, his talent for composing good music, one of the things for which he was known, began to lose an abysmal quality. The pressure sapped his patience and prevented him from thinking. Little by little, he simply couldn't compose or write his own music at the level previously demanded of him, which he himself had demonstrated many times over.
Some of his later songs were a disaster in every way. Many people didn't like them at all and began to criticize him. Because of all this, he decided, for the first time in his career, to no longer write or compose his own songs, but instead use songs that others had written for him. This technique isn't for everyone, as some people like to have more control over their music. But, well, according to him, he had no choice; he couldn't handle everything. For a while, this worked, and his music became somewhat popular again, but it no longer reached the level it had been before. In fact, the press was heavily critical of his change, saying that although the music wasn't bad, it was no longer his.

Reading all this made him feel even worse, and he decided he couldn't continue like this. His closest friends recommended he take a break for a while to gather his thoughts, and above all, they told him not to look too much at social media. Somewhat reluctantly, he accepted their advice. He spent a few weeks at home doing nothing, watching a lot of TV shows and eating popcorn. One day it was really hot, and he decided he wanted to go to the beach. So he packed his bags and went with his wife and children to the beach, near a small local village. The day at the beach was spectacular, and they had a great morning. He hadn't relaxed like this in a long time.

After that, he decided he wanted to visit the local villagers because it was a custom he always had to do. They were selling beautiful wooden crafts, which he liked a lot. When they arrived at the nearby village, they ran into a man selling wooden birds. After buying one, the man told him he knew him, had seen him online, and liked his music. He then invited them for a cup of tea. The man was a big fan, and little by little, he let Bruce know that his favorite songs were the ones he wrote in the beginning. Since they had already established a friendship, Bruce told him what he was going through.
The man then gave him some advice. He told him it would never be possible to please everyone; that's impossible. It's best to see things in a balanced way. But above all, do things to suit yourself and not just others. If you always work for others and leave nothing for yourself, you'll end up losing the joy of what you do and, as a result, the inspiration, just like what had happened to him.
Bruce admitted it was true: he'd let himself be carried away by the pressure of fame and pleasing everyone, forgetting what he preferred. That's why he'd lost his way. He thanked the Lord and left. A few months later, he returned, but now with his own music, made with him in mind and inspired in part by that man. Little by little, he was able to be himself again. But that was because he was able to handle things. Many successes await him now.
