There's a job in almost every band that's overlooked; many don't even give it any importance, and others simply don't know about it. I'm referring to the person in charge of being a band's personal chauffeur. Peter is the person in charge of driving a band to all of their shows and concerts. While the band has gained fame and prestige, he has always remained in the shadows, and virtually no one knows him outside of his inner circle. He's been with them for a long time, since their founding.
In all that time, they've lived many adventures together, attended many concerts, and gone through difficult times, which they've overcome as a family. Peter has earned their trust in a way no other chauffeur could have. Even the band's bodyguards don't bother checking Peter before getting into the car, because they know he's a very trustworthy person.

The band is currently on a multi-city tour. Peter has been working hard for a month, and many nights he can't even sleep because he has to transport them from one place to another. For example, to an interview, from the hotel to the concert, or to an outing for the band's enjoyment. So, this past month has been a significant amount of stress. Because of this, something that happened to them was curious; they even laugh about this situation, which many would say is unique. It turns out that a week earlier, the band had a concert scheduled in a new city they'd never been to. It was their first time there, and they were excited to be able to perform.
The band coordinated with local authorities the program and schedule, which would be at 7:00 a.m. For this reason, they would have to get up early and leave early. This event would be important because they would be giving away some awards they had won, so they wanted to be on time. The day before, they had a busy day, as they had to attend several interviews and go to autograph booths. Peter spent the whole day traveling with them. So it was very stressful. To top it all off, since they had to get up early the next day, they barely slept because they left at night. Peter only slept three hours; he was completely overslept.
You don't have to be a fortune teller to notice that this is a perfect breeding ground for trouble. But everyone trusted the trusty old Peter; no one doubted his driving skills. Well, the time to leave arrived, and everyone got in the car and headed for the concert, which was about five hours away. It was going to be a long, boring trip, so everyone fell asleep while Peter continued driving. But the stressful time began to take its toll.

Because he was so tired, he didn't notice something very important. He had strayed far from his original route. He was now in another town, and to top it all off, he hadn't realized it yet. Since it was their first time there, they didn't know the roads very well. After riding one by one, the band members woke up. It was already 6:00 a.m., and there was only an hour left until the show started. One of the members asked Peter why they hadn't arrived yet if they had left early to arrive at least two hours early and do a brief rehearsal before starting. Peter's response was that he hadn't yet seen the sign identifying the next town, and that was why he had driven straight ahead all night. When they heard this, they were very worried because they thought they would be delayed, but none of them knew they were far from their destination; in fact, they were getting further and further away.
By the time it was 7:40, they were already desperate; there were only 20 minutes left, and they should have been there for hours. Unfortunately for them, there was no internet in that area, so they couldn't check the GPS to see where they were or what they were missing. Peter was also scared because that had never happened before in his job as a driver. What he did was park and get out of the car. Then he saw a man working in his garden and quickly asked him how to get to their destination city and where they were. The man was surprised because they were going the wrong way. He told them the city was about seven hours away. They had driven in the wrong direction. They wanted to die at that moment.

It was already 7:00, and since they hadn't even arrived or appeared on the map, he received a text message from the event organizer telling him they were leaving and that people were leaving the venue. So the show was canceled because they couldn't make it on time. Peter was very embarrassed with them because he'd never made such a disastrous mistake. But they were aware that he'd been through a lot of stress in the days leading up to it, so in one way or another, they were also to blame for what had happened. So they just told him to be a little more careful next time but not to worry about it.
Now they were there, with all the equipment in the car, their vocals ready, but no event. The band was sad about having wasted the day. But Peter came up with the idea of doing a small concert in that same town and taking advantage of the opportunity to be there. The band thought it was a good idea. They took out their instruments and started singing and playing. At first, not many people came, but then the place filled up. Almost everyone in town came to see them. No one had ever come before. It was a great opportunity. In the end, they didn't waste the day, and everything worked out one way or another thanks to Peter.
