Rising Star – Hit 100 XP

I finally reached level 100 and I did it without the use of any XP boosters.

I first started playing Rising Star at the end of September 2021. So it has been two years and one month since I played my first Illegal Busking mission. For several months prior to joining I had seen Hive posts about the game from some of my Hive friends. But I never got around to actually going to the website and figuring out how to play. This was the way I was with Steemit as well. I spent months lurking before actually taking the plunge and joining.

Once I started, learning the gameplay was super simple and quick since it is pretty much an idle game. There was not much to the gameplay but I liked the challenge of trying to move up in the rankings and seeing where my friends were ranked.

I love the artwork on the cards as well as growing my collection of them. The holiday themed cards are particularly fun. I am not a musical person so the music aspect of the game is not super interesting to me. But, I do occasionally listen to the Rising Star radio while I have my browser open.

As you can see I have completed over 4000 missions. That number could actually be a lot more, but I have played off and on for the last couple of years or so. It is easy to forget to login and do missions when I get busy or distracted.

I have over 69,000 fans not including any temporary drunks. Not bad. That is as many people as a medium sized city. I own over 2000 cards. However, I will admit that many of them are cheap instrument cards. Still I am proud of my collection with around 700 unique cards and 3 legendaries.

I am hopeful that the game will be further developed over time and that the community can continue to grow.
