Having nothing at all but a dream, "What do I he have to lose" he thought to himself.
Without any delay, equipped only with his will and determination. He started wandering around in the streets of buskeria. No instrument to paly except his own voice, and without even any basic prior musical knowledge or skill.
At first, he was really struggling to do any real gigs, 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there, just to run quickly before any police officer might show up and take him in.
As his days went by like that, day after day. Always hungry and on the lookout for any pizza slices or even crumbs that he can find. Amusing some drunks who didn't know any better than to enjoy his what can be called "singing", to a drunken man's ears.
He started to really slowly build up some STARBITS stash, which is the main currency in the land of buskeria. Just to discover how big his own ego was once he hit that level 15.
And as the struggles intensified... His story began!
The Rise
Struggling daily to prove his worth, regretting at times the day of his birth. π
His struggles however, couldn't bend his strong will, with nothing to his name but lots of time to kill.
The busker kept going, further advancing his amateurish skill, gathering more information to better know the drill.
Then came some friends he met along the way, with more experience and much better cards to play.
They shared with him what they didn't need at the time, some cards they amassed during their prime.
Nothing fancy, just enough to get him aided, a small push to improve his skills and become better situated.
With enough skill now, no more music lessons were needed to progress.
Merely a few other minor issues to adress.
It felt like his efforts would finally start to blossom, gaining more STARBITS which was really awesome.
But most importantly the recognition of sober fans, which he really needed to further his own plans.
He started climbing up the missions ladder. Faster than he expected, which made him gladder.
Jux On You
Unlucky for our busker, his post was shared there, showing his progress and how he was playing fair.
At least that's what he thought was doing, or else he wouldn't dare.
The person mentined is well known in buskeria's books, the king of the game, apparently known as Jux.
He stopped the busker right in his tracks, explaining to him how there are no free snacks. β
If you want to progress in your RisingStar game career, you have to do it from the front entrance, not from the rear.
Lending cards and perks between Buskeria's peasants, was apparently for the game is something unpleasant.
And if one is to disobey what he did mandate, a swift and cruel verdict would be issued on that date!
The Fall
He quickly sent back everything he had received, from friends that merely wanted to help him proceed.
A process which wasn't as smooth as implied, but that's a different story and it has been rectified.
So, now the busker came back down from his heights. Postponing his plans, temporarily switching off the lights.
Not much he can do for now, after his skill has degraded.
And the fans he gathered around him, left, thinking his star has faded.
Shall Rise Again!
But fear not! Because nothing would alter his persistance, to keep going and improve his game existance.
He will keep going with building up on his own, what once he felt the need to have from a friend as a loan.
There won't be soon much updating about his current stardom career.
Until he gets back on his feet again and have some good news to bear.

Just to clarify, this post was not a complaint. It's just what had happened with me since my last game progress update.

I wasn't expecting to see some poetry when I clicked on this! π Nicely rhymed!! π
I'm not even sure how I ended up doing that. π
But I had nothing to talk about regarding any progress, neither did I wanted to do those crappy updates of mine after I read how beautiful you can make a post about even the dullest of games. Contrary to what eveyone else was doing simply for the curation (which I admitedly did too before).
So I just started writing a story aimlessly.. Couple of paragraphs later I got that "rhymey" mood out of nowhere and I went with it. π

Haha! For me, I just can't do little posts talking mundanely about how, "I got this card and this one, and oh, I did these missions, sooo, yeah..." π I feel like I'm wasting blockchain space, wasting people's autovotes. I need to write big, long, babbling stories!!!!! Or I'm not worth being on people's vote lists.
I mean, I know heaps of people do it. But. I have a horrible inherent trait of just... feeling bad, over everything. π

My point is, we all are making eachother improve, trying to outdo eachother and even ourselves each time. Which is super healthy and good for all our improvement.
