I’ll set aside a plant for this. I’ll use a living soil mix., and my compost. Always yo to a challenge. And nature is great, and is the true master grower, but I still say man has played a great role in helping things be better. And Ofcourse they have also made things worse lol

I think if your soil is not "living" (full of microbes, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and mycorrhizal fungi) then your plants won't survive past germination. Worm castings are loaded with beneficial bacteria and spores etc. So my soil is living too... a lot of growers are using living soil! I guess it's a broad term.
