Rising Star -this game is designed to allow people to start playing for free and use their Starbits they earn in game to buy more cards or packs of cards. I also occasionally use some of the Hive I've earned to buy cards too. For the next month or so (at least) my Rising Star account will be self-sufficient. Meaning I am earning enough Starbits to progress in the game and shouldn't need any Hive for at least a month. This frees up the Hive I earn for Dcity
dcity- this one is trickier as it is not designed for "free" players. You need to pay for cards to play the game and there is no way to play without buying cards. Here I use Hive I have earned as well as some WEED tokens I've earned to get it going. My progress here is slow but I am earning SIM, the in game currency of dcity
My dcity goals are a bit different then most. I mainly want to build weed farms, dispensaries, breweries and casinos. In dcity certain cards also pay you in different tokens (ie weed farms pay in WEED token, the brewery pays BEER tokens).
In dcity I will continue to use Hive and WEED (directly or indirectly) to get more cards until I am earning enough SIM to be self-sustaining.
That's basically it. If you've been wanting to play these games but haven't yet because of lack of funds, maybe these tips will help you get started. :)
