☁️ 🌛 The first buds...
Maybe I'm a little crazy or maybe I increasingly enjoy the simplest and at the same time magical things. Like when the time comes to germinate and see a plant grow from seed.
As I had told you before, lately I have been taking advantage of the growing moons, ideal times to submerge the seeds in a container with moist soil.
As the days go by and as the full moon approaches, the water present in all beings tends to rise, expand and sprout.
☁️ 🌚 The perfect mix?
When I'm recycling I usually use small cups with soil formed in the following way:
20% potting substrate
40% vermicompost humus
25% perlite and vermiculite
15% bokashi, rock powders and bat guano.
In the initial stages it is necessary to be extremely attentive to the humidity of the soil, checking it at least twice a day.
Making sure it is moist but not waterlogged. This is of vital importance since the seeds will not be able to germinate if the environment is very dry and they will not be able to do so if they are bogged down and without oxygen.
☁️ 🌝 Humidity
There are different strategies to keep the substrate moist, ensuring proper hydration of the seeds.
For example, we can add Fuegian peat to our substrate, which is a compound that is responsible for keeping the soil around it moist for longer.
We can also group all the pots together, touching each other, this way they dry out less and we can also gather them in a larger pot with soil so that it also maintains humidity under each of the glasses for longer.
And finally we can add mulch or a small shred of leaves so that they cover the surface of the pots, preventing the sun from hitting the substrate directly.
However, there is a caveat and it is not advisable to make a mulch or cover of any green material, but it would be best to ideally use coconut fiber or materials that do not attract harmful insects or can serve as a refuge for previous pests.
🌞 To the sun
It is very important to place the plants in the shade in the first days. Sheltered from the wind and away from extreme heat sources such as cement.
You have to observe them carefully and as the days go by, slowly take them out a little more towards the direct sun, to prevent them from becoming too elongated looking for light.
They greatly benefit from applying water with a spray bottle, in the form of a spray.

From the valleys of Córdoba Argentina, greetings and good vibes!
I loved your tips for the humidity, my friend! I just place dry leaf debris to keep the soil protected from the sun, it's getting more and more killer around these parts every day. May it be a beautiful period of watching them grow and vegetate like crazy, I send you a hug!
gracias, hablando de humedad afortunadamente anoche llovió, y una alegría se ve en el patio hoy.
Espero que estén bien tus plantitas y que sigan creciendo felices! abrazos!
Good luck on this grow!
