Harvesting day by day because the buds are to the point of caramel

in WeedCash Network5 years ago

I decided to harvest the plant as much as possible day by day because the trichomes I observe look very white, at the ideal point to remove the buds and let them dry. Many friends would mend it to let it grow one more month but I decided to follow the advice they gave me in this community, observe the color of the trichomes and at first glance it seems that the leaves have tiny drops of water which are the white hairs that grow near the bud.

In addition to cutting for this same reason, he also had to reduce the height of the plant because it had already reached 2 meters and did not want one of the neighbors to see it.

Cutting the buds and selecting the best ones is not an easy job, I must first cut the branch and then remove all the possible leaves that are nothing more than waste, although there are people who smoke them.

To have a well trimmed branch full of visible buds I spend a good time in the morning with the scissors, sometimes I have to clean the scissors because after cutting many leaves it fills with a glue produced by the same leaves, due to my ignorance I would say that it is wise but I will search the internet for what it is.

I have also noticed that I have too much proliferation of seeds, something very unwanted, I understand that some would say that it is great because I will be able to plant more but what would happen if I plant and the next one only comes out more seeds than buds.

After cutting all the leaves that I could, I took the trouble to speed up the drying a little more, I did so by hanging the branches on a rope from the indoor patio.

I have been recommended that I could use a fan with an indirect draft, but the climate of my city is ideal at the moment because there is no intense heat and there is enough wind to carry a little humidity, the only bad thing about today was that the A neighbor set a fire to cook meat and smoke filled my backyard right where I left the branches to dry.

I personally would of went longer, but I am a big believer of personal choice. I do like what an old timer once told me, when you fell its ready to chop, wait 2 more weeks longer. :) Nice plant though!

I thought the same but my idea is to harvest a little every 3 or 2 days, and I also select the branches with the greatest amount of buds and well loaded.

The "glue" on you scissors is called scissor hash... cure it and smoke it..

Thank you very much for the information, I did not know that every day I learn more in this community; I really appreciate your advice and I take it into account

Looks like it is going to be a good yeild. Sucks you got some seeds but happens with out doors

The next plant will be the gelato variation, I loved how it looks in photos and I want to have it

Great job getting her to the finish line.
The best part is yet to come when you get to smoke her :)
