I'm like a kid in a candy store. They have so much stuff that I want to buy. I am excited for the buildasoil. I've only heard good things about it.
Good luck, you should do fine with photo period grow. Just make sure there is no light penetration at night and setup a timer. I don't use a timer, my cat reminds me. Starts meowing at 7 am sharp and again at 7pm, he knows somehow.
