We got Raided and Robbed!

The last three days have been quite crazy, and I haven't had private time to make a post at all up until now..

The day before yesterday, when there was hardly anybody here and no dogs, 2 Police Local and one Guardia Civil officer came on to the land cut down all the Cannabis plants that were here. It was all because the gate across the track wasnt closed - the law here is that if a plot of land is accessable without going over a fence or under a chain, then its perfectly legal for them to come inside.

I had been tending to them just a few hours before, making shade for the to stop the roots from cooking.

They took no more than 80 plants (including with someone elses grow), and left us with nothing apart from my autoflowers which they didnt even acknowledge.

80 sounds a lot, but actually there's six people living here so thats 13 plants each which is reasonable, not to mention half were unknown 'Random Beautys' that were possibly Males and wpuld be classed as hemp, plus the CBD Hemp strains that were there are legal. (Apparently my mates lawyer said there is no set legal limit of plants for one persons personal use here in Spain).

We have the lounge area the edge of the plot of land because it has all day shade, and one of my dog's thoughts when somebody appeared the entrance but I told her to stop because I presumed it was someone living on the land. If I recognized a spanish policemans top half, I would have not told her to stop and we would have had a minute or two to grab some smaller plants and move them away out the back before they saw them.

My mate who is the land owner said to me when they guy disappered again "that was a cop" and so he got up and got a wheelbarrow and walked over towards where he had came from to check it out.
I just sat where I was in the shade and then up the same pathway came 3 of them, two local police (a man and woman ) who are pretty much traffic wardens and your welcome to tell them politly to "fuck off", but they had with them a huge Guardia officer, and these fuckers you dont tell to go fuck themselves because they will batter you hard!

Screenshot_20200525_094526_com.huawei.himovie.overseas-1.jpgThis is the police you can laugh at and not take seriously -if they persist to try any bullying and you tell them NO, then they call the Guardia Civil.

From where we sit in the shade I had a great view of everything. Of course I recorded and took some photos of it all. When they came into this part of the land I heard one ask for passports. I did expect them to come over to me and asked for my passport as well because they looked over a few times, but actually somehow I got away with it and they didnt ask me anything.

I realized that the sun was so strong that in the shade at the midday when they were here, they were wearing sunglasses and from that distance it was not possible to see someone sat on the bench in the shade even though I could see them very clearly just 15m away.

Within 15 minutes tops, they were gone, and suddenly so we're all of the pants. No farmer wants to see their crop destroyed especially when the weld is collapsed and the future of money is uncertain.

That evening we went along the river bed and where I used to live is is now a small shop run by a German guy who is into tech and crypto and is as I believe very very active in Faircoin since the start (I will make him a hive account soon and a post about it). It sounds like a great project and if they have a hive account they can reach out to more people.

I had a nice conversation with him today just now, but the evening where I first met him, we ended up buying lots and lots of wine to take back home to lift the sad moods that everybody was in from the plants being taken.

The problem is though that the shop is at the lounge (our old party area 8years ago) where people hang out and cook and then some people arrived and we started drinking wine. Me and my mate had already finished a bottle each before remembering that we were meant to go and buy wine and come back.

We stumbled back along the riverbed, with four more full bottles of red wine and got everyone to come over to drown some sorrows from getting robbed in broard day light on a Sunday.

It isn't often that I get drunk but when I get drunk I really get drunk,- I woke up fully clothed laying diagonal on my small air mattress and the light on my phone was still on, and the dogs case me a sorrowful look as if to say "you look rough and also you slept on our beds more than your own last night"

It's been quite hot to do anything and I need to find a rhythm but firstly I also need to find a shady quiet private place where I can rest during the daytime. this morning my mate said to me that he wants to go on a holiday for some alone time because since they lockdown he hasn't had half a day to himself.

He has regular guests and people to come and park up live here, and I know more than from one experience, exactly how it feels to be hosting many people that's your home and having not really any relaxing time by yourself. Solidarity.

I told him straight away that he didn't have to worry about the garden and I could easily stay here for a few days and look after things.*

So yeah he has gone and I'll help him out by clearing things up, creating space and also get some plants back on the go. I actually thought an hour after the police has left to go and check what they had actually left behind, and thankfully they had actually left some small plants on the floor which day has just up rooted and chucked down on the ground.

I repotted them straight away and will make another post I guess about the recovery efforts. Its nice to bring fresh energy in everybody's had enough!

I will start using esteemapp again for microblogs to keep up or I get a backlog of things I want to share and document and then its not so enjoyable.

Hope everyone is soon getting the chance to re-locate before the next global house arrest that has already long since been planned happens..

Big Love and Abundance,

Damn pigs! Well at least they got that dangerous devils lettuce off the street! Sorry bro

Pfffff ,... so much for it being legal , .... ACAB !

It seems there's no place on earth anymore to get away from those shitheads. After this pandemic I hate police more and more.

Oh, man so sorry to read this. Shitty that you had your crop destroyed.

Im the only one not so sad because my plants were only babys, but for the others here its well shit!! I will inject some energy the next few days to balance it out 😃

yes, do it!
that's what we do here (the stronger spirit)

No good about the crop mate.

What a pointless exercise all they have managed to do is sour community relations.

The guardia Officer didnt even wear a mask 😝 They cant kill our spirit though!

hey mate
this is a very honest and informative post for all of us..
how to act with the system :)
i have no hate for them.. but was missing this piece of the puzzle

cheers from bulgaria!
this is gonna lead you to a higher state for sure! ;)
keep it real, bro!

That is sad and kind of misfortune ! But thanks for sharing and you actually kept the spirits up ! No victim, no crime.
People definitely need to be out growing and caring about nature more than we are caring about our govs.

sorry for the theft of your plants but it is good to hear that things didn't escalate more than that✌️ maybe time to get goin on that fence?

Isn't it legal to cultivate cannabis in Spain? Do you need a permit or something?

Yeh its legal 😜 but very undefined. Its a well corrupted area anyway, there are huge cannabis farms up the mountains but they pay the guardia civil to be ignored 🤣
