Hello beautiful people of Diyhub. It's your favourite girl Zali.bee and I have bring to you another beautiful handmade for a client at Hooked by Zalibee. In this post, I will be giving a step by step guide on how I made this beauty.

And I hope you will all love it. Trust the process it's very easy and beginner friendly.
Material used:

  • Yarn.
  • 3.00mm hook.
  • measuring tape.
  • yarn needle.
  • stitch marker.
  • scissors.

BELOW ARE THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS
NOTE: There are words you will be coming across more often which are: Chains, half double crochet, single crochet, and turn over. And I will be making use of double strand of yarn in this guide.

STEP 1: I made a slip knot.

STEP 2: I made a foundation chain of 65. And in the third chain from the hook I place half double crochet. I continue with the half double crochet until I have 5 chains left.

I place my stitch marker in the first half double Crochet. So not to leave any stitch behind.

Where I have 5 stitches left, I place another stitch marker.

STEP 3: In the remaining 5 stitches, I place single crochet in the back loop, Chain up 1 and turn my work over.

I place single crochet in the first five stitches, After turning my work.
I continue with half double crochet still in the back loop until I get to my stitch marker. I chain up 1, and turn my work over. I continue with the half double crochet until I got to the five stitches. I place single crochet in the 5 stitches, Chain up 1, and turn my work over.

I continue with that process. Half double crochet in the back loop until the five single crochet stitches. Then I place single crochet, chain up 1, and turn over.

Same process very simple and easy.

I'm in love with this colour.

I continue with the same process.

Here I added the second colour. Because my client ordered for the mixture of chocolate and light brown.

And I continue with the same process. Until a got enough rows to fit my client.

Here I place it together and join with a single crochet all through to the top with my yarn needle.

At the top of my work where I have the 5 stitches. I went through the holes with my yarn needle all around and pull together. I made a tight knot, fasten off my yarn and hide the tiny yarns.

I turn it in and fold. This is what I got. Looking pretty 😍 right? Yeah! I so much love the colour combo.

Hold on! We are not done yet. My client request his name to be customised. And hope i nailed it? Rate me in the comment section.
